Artist business management software for the whole practice.
The work and the work behind it, together.
AntiMess brings the operational side of an art practice into one considered workspace: the people you work with, the commissions you make, the pieces you have available, and the money moving through your studio.
One place to see the shape of your practice. More space to make the work.
A WORKING PRACTICE
Everything has a place.
A quieter way to keep the different parts of your studio connected.
Make the art. Keep the context.
THE BIGGER PICTURE / 01
A practice is more than a project list.
A single commission touches a person, a brief, a timeline, a price, and eventually a payment. A finished artwork has a medium, an asking price, an availability status, and perhaps a sale history. AntiMess gives these details a shared home instead of asking you to remember which tab they live in.
01 / RELATIONSHIPS
Start with the person, not a loose thread.
Keep contact details, useful notes, tags, and commission history with the client they belong to. When someone comes back months later, you can pick up the relationship without reconstructing it from old messages.
For commissioned work, a request can become a conversation, an Artwork Brief, a quote, and a clear approval before you begin. The context stays close to the work.
Client records
Remember preferences, previous work, and important details.
Commission flow
Move from inquiry to agreed scope without losing the original idea.
02 / THE ARTWORK
Give finished pieces a life beyond the studio wall.
Catalog artworks with medium, price, and availability. See what is available, reserved, sold, or part of your past work, and keep a manual record when a sale happens.
Inventory does not have to be a storefront to be valuable. It can simply be a reliable answer when a collector asks what is still available.
Know what is where
A clear status for each piece, without another spreadsheet.
Price with context
Keep the asking price alongside the artwork record.
03 / THE BUSINESS
See the numbers without living inside them.
Track revenue and expenses, review profit summaries, and record payments once you have confirmed them yourself. Create invoice and tax-invoice documents, keep receipts, print or save PDFs, and export records as CSV.
It is an organized ledger for your practice, not a bank connection or a replacement for professional tax advice. The aim is clarity when you need it and quiet when you do not.
Readable summaries
See what came in, what went out, and what remains.
Useful documents
Keep invoice records and receipts close to the work.
A WAY THROUGH
A little more structure. A lot more room.

Keep the client and their context in view.
- 02

Manage the brief, progress, and artwork.
- 03

Capture the sale, expense, or confirmed payment.
- 04

Understand the financial shape of your practice.
IN THE STUDIO / A REAL MOMENT
A studio day, without the tab archaeology.
A returning client asks about a new portrait while another collector enquires about a finished piece. You can revisit the first client’s history, shape a new commission brief, check whether the artwork is available, and later record the resulting payments. Different moments of work, one coherent practice.
GOOD TO KNOW
A few clear answers.
The practical details, without the small print feeling.
What is artist business management software?
It is a workspace for the non-making parts of an art practice: clients, commissioned projects, artwork inventory, sales records, and finances. AntiMess keeps those areas connected so you can find context without maintaining separate systems.
Is AntiMess only for artists who take commissions?
No. Commissions are an important part of AntiMess, but you can also catalog existing artworks, maintain client relationships, record direct sales, and track revenue and expenses.
Does AntiMess take payments or sell artwork online?
No. There is no built-in payment processing or e-commerce checkout. You record a payment after you have confirmed it yourself, and you can keep a manual history of direct artwork sales.
